New Year's Eve Brunch

 Welcome 2017!

Won't you please come in and join me for a New Year's brunch?

(Some of my Christmas gifts under the tree)

I set out brunch in my kitchen nook.

I have quiche, scones, and honey butter biscuits.

I set the table with two new plates I found in Tuesday morning when I was shopping for gifts for my mother (I know, I probably shouldn't have been buying for myself at the same time...)

These dinner plates are Lenox's Butterfly Meadow (which is my every day china), but are Christmas plates with lovely poinsettia.  I didn't even know there were Christmas plates to match!

I set out two different Christmas teacups.

I also filled my new Spode teapot (a Christmas gift) with a Republic of Tea Christmas blend (Comfort and Joy--delicious!).
Those are chocolate toffee cookies on my new Royal Albert Christmas Tree sandwich plate--I found it in Homegoods at the beginning of the season (to match my Christmas china!). And my obsession with that store continues...

How about some Raspberry wine as well?

My friend brought it to share.  She belongs to the vineyard's wine club--it is from a winery in Leon, Virginia, and was sweet with a slight tart bite.  Wonderful!  I might have to check out their other wines...

  4. Thank you for the tour of your beautifully decorated home! I think I counted 4 Christmas trees inside? Of course, I had to maximize the image of the tea-themed tree so that I can ogle the ornaments. Heh.

Wished that I lived closer so that I can join you for your delicious brunch!

  5. I enjoyed seeing your pretty home with Christmas decorations. I am a traditional red and green Christmas decorator. Brunch with a friend or family is a perfect meal, in my opinion.

  8. Everything looks so festive and pretty! And I LOVE your white "tea" tree. (I have a tabletop tea tree (green) that's still up because I enjoy it so much.) You certainly should have bought the Butterfly Meadow Christmas plates when you saw them, and I'm glad you did. I'd have done the same, they are lovely. It's all lovely! Happy New Year!
