Fairy Tea Garden

For today's tea party, I thought I would share the fairy container garden I just planted this weekend.

My mother gave me a box with all the things you need to make a fairy tea garden.  In fact, she had previously given this kit to my aunt who has elaborate fairy gardens in her backyard.  Apparently my mom had also bought me one to surprise me with.

The Box includes these accessories:

The fairy is even wearing a hat, so she is definitely ready for a tea party!  I didn't use the container that came with it--it was a bit too small.  Instead I used a big green pot that I already had.

So...on to the main event, my fairy garden!  I put it on my portico to great people as they approach my front door.

Fairy is waiting for you to join her, after a sprinkling of fairy dust of  course!

Maybe a tad more...

Now you can see Fairy's pretty teapot with purple and pink flowers.  The little cups and saucers with a pink blossom are also the perfect size.  Please have a seat!  Would you like a cupcake with your tea?  I have two left from a trip to a local bakery called Cakes by Happy Eatery

The cupcake on the left is strawberry mango and the other is banana split.  I'm partial to the banana split myself.

Thanks for joining me!  If you liked the little kit, my mother found it at Walmart.

  5. Your fairy garden is delightful! It's nice that there are kits available to make one, I purchased the pieces for mine separately.
I'm a new follower and I hope you can visit me for tea as well.
