A Disney Halloween tea

I really enjoy decorating for the holidays, so this month I will be sharing different teas based on my Halloween decorations.  So let's start the tour!  As you walk up to my house, you would of course see all my outside decorations--I just finished putting them out yesterday.  You might have noticed from previous posts that I'm a big Disney fan, so my Halloween decorations have a "magical" touch.

I set up a little tea on my back deck if you would like to join me?  I was hoping that the trees in my backyard would be further along in color--but not quite yet.  I'll have to do another deck tea later in the season.  I also managed to pick the sunniest part of the day to take these pictures, so I had a bit of problem with glare--sorry about that!

I placed my container mums on the table--the "mum-kins" (my yellow mums in pumpkin containers) were a surprise gift from my parents--they bought them for me (at Lowes if you have one nearby)  while I was at work and left them on my front steps.  It's great coming home to surprise flowers!

Mickey and Minnie are of course our guests of honor at this tea.  Mickey is enjoying his tea in one of my green German sets (this one Rosenthal) with lots of gold accents and small pink roses.

Minnie is enjoying her tea in another green German set:

This one also has lots of gold and the characteristic wide bowl with a pretty inner decoration.

I'm sure Minnie enjoys seeing this pretty design with pink and yellow roses as she drinks her tea!  She does enjoy pink especially with her pink bows and pink lady bug costume.

I also made a special dessert to share:

Yes, these are cupcakes (pumpkin of course!) with mouse ears :).  I'll post the recipe for the cupcakes and the honey buttercream frosting tomorrow.

Thanks for joining me--I hope you have a magical week!
